Rocky AHMA and COVID-19

In light of ongoing developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rocky AHMA is following recommendations issued by Federal, State, and local governments, implementing restrictions on "gatherings".  Rocky AHMA has made some determinations related to our operations and educational programming.  We will continue to send relevant updates and post to our website as well.  It is our intention to protect our members and the community as we take every effort to do our part to slow the progression of COVID-19.

As of March 16, 2020, staff will be working remotely and business will continue as usual.  For the next 60 days at minimum, all in-person training classes and meetings will be offered in a virtual format when possible, and others will be rescheduled as necessary.  Specific event modifications are listed below.

Education and Training

The State Spring Workshops will NOT be held in-person this year, instead we will offer in a virtual format via webinar.  We will strive to offer on the originally planned dates, if possible. As always, the educational content varies by state.  Now the spring workshops will  be more easily accessible to everyone regardless of location.  We will be reaching out to all who have registered for a workshop.

Rocky AHMA is committed to supporting our members during this difficult and unprecedented time.  We welcome your questions, input, and thoughts on what we can do to best meet your needs.  We are all in this together.  Please reach out via email or call 303-840-9803.

Be well!

FY 2020 HUD Income Limits

HUD released the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 estimated Median Family Incomes (MFIs) and the FY 2020 Income Limits. MFIs are used as the basis for income limits in several HUD programs, including the Public Housing, Section 8 project-based, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, Section 202 housing for the elderly, and Section 811 housing for persons with disabilities programs.

HUD also released the FY 2020 Multifamily Tax Subsidy Project (MTSP) Income Limits, which are used to determine eligibility for low-income housing tax credit and tax-exempt bond properties.
