2022 OCAF Notice

HUD has recently published a notice with the Operating Cost Adjustment Factors for 2022. The OCAFs provided in the notice are applicable to eligible projects having a contract anniversary date of February 11, 2022, or after and were calculated using the same method as those published in HUD’s 2021 OCAF notice published on November 27, 2020.

FY 2022 HUD Income Limits

HUD released the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 estimated Median Family Incomes (MFIs) and the FY 2022 Income Limits. MFIs are used as the basis for income limits in several HUD programs, including the Public Housing, Section 8 project-based, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, Section 202 housing for the elderly, and Section 811 housing for persons with disabilities programs.

HUD also released the FY 2022 Multifamily Tax Subsidy Project (MTSP) Income Limits, which are used to determine eligibility for low-income housing tax credit and tax-exempt bond properties.

Visit the FY 2022 Income Limits homepage on HUD User to access the query tool, data and documentation.
