Kim Reents Kim Reents currently serves as a Compliance Specialist III with CMS and is the only CSIII based outside of Washington state, residing in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska, attended college in Blair, Nebraska, and moved to Omaha after graduating from Dana College in 2001. Kim began her career in affordable housing in 2003 at Millard Manor with Good Samaritan Society, where she later became the Affordable Housing Manager in 2008. She has over 15 years of experience in affordable housing compliance and property management. Since joining CMS in 2019, Kim has primarily worked with properties in Nebraska and Utah (2019–2023) and has been primarily responsible for Missouri since June 2023. Kim brings extensive expertise in HUD compliance, tenant eligibility, and occupancy requirements, with deep experience conducting Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs) and ensuring regulatory compliance across multifamily housing programs. Outside of work, Kim is a proud dog owner with three dogs: two German Shepherd puppies born in June 2025 and a 13-year-old Labrador mix she lovingly refers to as her “old lady.” |
